Automated Alerts

Keeping you up-to-date with COVID-19 in your community, the Automated Alerts, developed by ANU's Software Innovation Institute, supports daily COVID-19 situation updates for your specific locations of interest. Reports are sent by email or viewed online. Public data from across Australia's various Departments of Health are utilised through the Data Engine.

Different types of automated alerts are supported, including COVID-19 cases (have there been any new COVID-19 cases reported in my postcodes of interest in the past 14 days), COVID-19 tests, and COVID-19 contact tracing locations (what are the current contact tracing locations in my postcodes of interest).

Usage & Sources

Please note that sometimes the confirmation email sent during registration ends up in the Junk Email or Spam folder. If you have not received the email within 10 minutes please check there. Otherwise contact CRISPER Support.

The data used by the Alerts Engine is collected from different government sources. The source data is checked every hour for updates. The data is only as up-to-date as the source agencies make it available. For example, many agencies do not update the data on the weekends, and only update the data once a day.

Automated alerts are powered by our Data Engine.
